On agricultural museum that lets you see what life was like for farmers hundreds of years ago. No need for snow to go on the piste. Try the local dry ski slope. Just the place for a relaxing swim, or as they say in the North East -. Gang fur a dook . A wonderful horticultural experience, well worth a visit.

This is a retrospective site visit so if I get something wrong blame my memory! This was fairly easy to find and the station at Pages Park had a nice Colonel Stephens' atmosphere and surprisingly good facilities. It has long been the subject of a preservation scheme with elements of tourist and 'real' traffic in its plans. Thursday, 5 April 2007. This is one of my favourite lines. And it's great to see it beginning to come back to life. Like the revived S&D. This is likely to become a premier heritage line over the next 20 years as it expands in both directions.
