Friday, June 17, 2011. The Mom and Madden. I can't even believe how fast time flies by. I was 9 when Madden was born and here he is as a NINE YEAR OLD! I was just reading through some of my past posts and drafts (because I write a lot of posts and either never finish them of don't post them) but anyhoo, I wa going through and I saw that last year, the first basketball game was November 23rd against Northridge. I couldn't be more anxious to leave home, to live my life for. My parents will no longer loom over me. I'll live and love and learn for me. My life is my gift and it's time it becomes mine. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Thou Shalt Not Whine. Today I have found myself complaining. A LOT. Even now as I type this, I am struggling at being optimistic and realizing that I should NOT. Be complaining. I mean how many people out there have lives a million times worse than mine? Seriously. And I know this. Yet I still feel like complaining and whining all day long. Why is that? Is it the time of year or something? Isn't the transition from summer to winter the season that makes most people grumpy?

Two posts in two days? That's pretty dang good for me! But I needed to finish up some thoughts from the last post. So what did we do? Before we went our separate ways (for a little while at least) we made a summer bucket list. I must say- it's going to be a great summer. I am so excited. Graduation has been an incredible thing. A night in the 4201. Just made french toast on kneaders cinnamon bread at 11:30. so incredibly worth it. and then doing a little mary hart shape up throwback (80's aerobics for those of you not fortunate enough to have come across mary). and i have class tomorrow at 7:30. awesome. good thing i'm a college student and can run on no sleep?
