Alice C. Chen developed her storytelling skills while exploring the Amazon Rainforest as an undergraduate at Stanford University. She went on to earn her master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill and is now an award-winning journalist. Previous to Alice's freelancing career, she was an education reporter at the Pulitzer Prize-winning Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, one of the largest daily newspapers in the country.
