Also, once I started drawing my design, my pencil lines would be more visible, too. I started drawing my floral design and then I began with my underpainting. Here is a view of the back of the chair.

The plants are old and definitely past their prime. In my "real world" (is "real"over rated? The scarecrow gets his fashion statement....
