Saturday, July 25, 2015. 2015 : week 30. We decided making a batch of blueberry muffins was a good way to put our freshly picked blueberries to use. Monday, August 10, 2015. Carrie decided to start the induction process tonight during her last appointment with her doctor. An hour and a half ago we left the two John kiddos with Memaw and Pepaw, which they were excited about- Will for the Wii and Lauren for the candy. Saturday, May 30, 2015. 2015 : week 22. I made the kids re-take a "Mother's Day" picture with me before we headed to church Sunday. It has been another stormy week. Raining for a day or two with short breaks in between storm systems. Maybe some day it will start feeling like summer. The kids built beaver lodges in our living room and played in them for several hours throughout the wet, gray Thursday. Will's in the one near the couch somewhere buried somewhere underneath all the blankets and pillows.

Monday, April 20, 2015. 2015 : week 16. You don't keep your tissues in your shoes? Lauren has taken to storing things in her shoes when she doesn't have a pocket, which is most of the time. It makes us laugh, because Will can hardly stand to have the seams of his socks misaligned and yet Lauren can walk or peddle a bike with tissues, coins or small pieces of paper stashed under her feet. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The dude has arrived! Elliott was born around 11:30, so the optimistic nurse was right. Carrie handled labor magnificently. Everything went quicker and smoother that other births. His cord was wrapped around his neck, and it had to be cut quick. He is 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. He seems to have a giant mouth. Like all babies he looked like a gremlin at birth. He seems to look a bit like me, but maybe that will fade as he looks less and less like a gremlin. 2015 : week 35.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Carrie just got her epidural. She now can rest easier. She looks like she is getting ready to take a nap. Oh, except I can tell she just had a contraction because her face got tense. She is having consistent, strong contractions, but no one has checked her progress in awhile. When I find out about her progress, I will let you know. Hope the epidural brings some relief. I was a sunny side up baby and both Mom and I turned out okay. :).
