Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Welcome to NY2015SCBWI Winter Conference! I had so much fun seeing all my buddies again. I am so honored to volunteer for a professional organization that celebrates creativity in children's literature. The speakers were awesome, with memorable presentations by Hervé Tullet (PRESS HERE) and Kwame Alexander (THE ACCOUSTIC ROOSTER). We celebrated Kwame's recent Newbery Medal for his novel in verse, THE CROSSOVER. I got to see my first Broadway Show! Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
