Thursday, March 18, 2010. Friday, March 5, 2010. Fun times with rimlight. I've been experimenting with getting a more cartoony. Feel for monkey. A lot of this I'm trying to pull off with the shader. I really like the way rim lighting. Looks on him; I think I prefer. It to an inky outline. I made a few small modifications to his blinn. Texture to get this. I took a maya. And fed it's transparency into the blinns. I also averaged the diffuse of my painted texture into the cel. Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

Thursday, February 17, 2011. ID tech camps success story! I recently got featured in one of iD tech camp's success stories. iD stands for internal drive- it's a summer camp who's goal is to get kids interested in technology. iD has camps nationwide- I got to teach at the University of Washington for two summers, covering topics like Maya/Unreal/Hammer. Alien Fires Band

Mark Stevens, who at one time was Snohomish County's top club DJ, is a founding member of Alien Fires. "I know what it takes to be a good bar band.
