Sunday, July 24, 2011. Every year we have attended this concert since we started kids attending Marshall Elementary! Hundreds of kids there to show off the fruits of a year's worth of effort and practice. This year we have Lindsay and Jeremy again, same as last year! Lindsay was in the second grade violins and Jeremy was in the first grade violins. It was so great! Brandon was even able to get off work and come down to see, Thanks Sweetie! Thursday, October 20, 2011. Lake Mary On Our "Snow Day" Make Up. We had NO snow days built into the schedule last year, then we got dumped on several times, once resulting in an entire week of school being cancelled- -bottom line, extra school days at the end of the year- BUMMER! So this year, the school district added 4 or 5 four day weekends to give ua a buffer. WELL, true to Flagstaff form, we had ZERO snow days this year, it did snow, just over the weekend EVERY time! Saturday, April 20, 2013. For no particular reason yesterday, as it is not something I have ever done, I felt prompted to call Nova (a radio station) to offer a correction (they thought Alex Kingston was a dude). And when I did, they gave me free tickets to SupaNova (our version of ComicCon) as well as free entry to Dreamworld SupaNova after dark. It was only two tickets to Dreamworld, but I wasn't even able to wake Will, so I ended up taking Justice myself. Free is very cool! Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Friday, April 5, 2013. Another day at work. Justice came and helped me with deliveries last night. We stayed in the city once we finished and visited the museum to see the dinosaur exhibit that is closing soon and also went to the science centre. Which was a HIT. Of course, future Doctor McPhail had to do the giant body puzzle. There were some interesting exhibits about light and illusion. As well as some great puzzles. And a giant lightning ball! But he particularly liked the shadow display.

OK, so I have to say that this poor room has seen more use from our family with the least amount of TLC in return than any other room in our house! It's such an enduring room! Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Pattern Block Heaven, Thanks Grandpa! My Dad gave me his pattern blocks awhile ago. I LOVED these things all those years ago when I was in his classroom after school making patterned pictures or mosaic patterns forever. I have the strongest memory of that!
