Living a Life with Spirit: Gearing Up for Fall

http://alifewithspirit.blogspot.com/2009/10/gearing-up-for-fall.html

Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Gearing Up for Fall. As I'm sure you've already noticed, I have not been posting much over the last several months. The reason for that is that I've been busy dealing with the state of the economy. From early January through the beginning of July, I fought a rear-guard action as I watched my income from my principal employment shrink to the point of disappearing. Since then I've been working hard to replace that income. I'm happy to report that things are looking much better&#4...

Living a Life with Spirit: Forgiveness

http://alifewithspirit.blogspot.com/2010/02/forgiveness.html

Sunday, February 28, 2010. This post is based on a presentation I gave two weeks ago at the Circle of Gratitude and Love Learning Center. When we hold onto grievances, no matter how large or small, we are attaching ourselves to negative emotions. Negativity drains the Spirit, leading to physical problems as well as mental and emotional ones. While the words on the death certificates may be different, many people have literally killed themselves by wallowing in negative emotions. Living in Spirit must.

Living a Life with Spirit: The Dangers of an American Theocracy

http://alifewithspirit.blogspot.com/2010/03/dangers-of-american-theocracy.html

Friday, March 19, 2010. The Dangers of an American Theocracy. It boggles my mind is how the same people who rant about theocracies in other countries can turn right around and try to turn America into their version of Christian theocracy. And to be honest, I'm pretty sick and tired of reading about Glenn Beck's latest tirade, whatever it may be. In fact, I'm pretty sick of all politicians who claim Christianity trying to shove their version of religion down my throat. Anyone who has read this blog knows ...

A Life With Pie - A pinch of passion for gluten free cooking, pie & happiness.

A Life With Pie. A pinch of passion for gluten free cooking, pie and happiness. Rum and Egg Nog Caramels. Jan 05, 2014. Thanks to a quite talented Martha Stewart-esque friend of mine who fortunately allowed me to witness her Christmas caramel crafting frenzy, I recently have begun playing with and eating copious amounts of caramels, infused with various flavours and goodies (stay tuned for… *gasp* maple bacon caramels). Surprisingly, they are actually quite simple to make! Rum and Egg Nog Caramels. When ...

A Life With Psoriasis | All about living with Psoriasis

A Life With Psoriasis. All about living with Psoriasis. It’s been a long time ever since I wrote in here. I have been so busy because this is my last year in university and I finally found the drive to end this. I have been putting it on hold for a while but I feel now that this is the year. I’m not getting any younger and I know things will be easier if I have my degree completed. This is how I feel right now. Today I realised I am an emotional eater. Have you ever felt like this? Of the year here in Ma...

living a life with purpose

Living a life with purpose. August 4, 2013 by Diana. Never come to an end;. Of worlds bestest cousins. June 21, 2013 by Diana. Happy we got to see cousin Susy in Canada whom we hadn’t seen for too many years! A family vacation provided lots of opportunities for pictures and we did take advantage of it. ;). If I could choose my cousins I’d choose YOU! No, it’s not all perfect but we rejoice in the imperfection as we strive to become more and more like Christ. This is truly a gift. And I am SO grateful.

A Life With Roots

A Life With Roots. Daily adventures of everyday Earth Warriors! Thursday, July 22, 2010. I grew up with an old Farmall Model M tractor with a bucket loader. It was a work horse plowing fields in the spring and plowing snow in the winter. It was so involved with our projects that it was almost like a member of the family. Need to reach some pears? Jump in the bucket and up you go. Need to repair the stone driveway? Break out the M. Is it time to plow? Then hook up the M and tear up some dirt. Tucquan Glen...

Living with RSD

My journey and experiences as a young woman just diagnosed with Reflex Sympethetic Dystrophy, or RSD. A mother, daughter, sister, and ones partner. How it not only effects me, but how it effects the people I love, and how the medical world and public treat me. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. It's a revolving door? No If you are smart and persistent, there is hope. I have found a group of neurosurgeons that think they have found the source of my pain! Or so I hope. It sounds reasonable to me, and I can kill tw...

A LIFE WITH SUBTITLES

A LIFE WITH SUBTITLES. Give Me Chickens Or Give Me Death. I knew having my mother-in-law visit. Was going to offer some fantastic blogging material. My first clue? This text from my sister:. She has never met my mother-in-law before, and she wanted to let me know she was brushing up on her Spanish. Because apparently we will be talking about chickens. I'm still unsure if they'll be dead or alive. This was my response:. So then I was talking to Billy about my Spanglish mix-up. (Are you keeping track?

A Life with the Erickson's. I have a lot of catch up blogging to accomplish and this is my start. I'd like to journal a little under each post, but my main focus for now is going to be on posting the photos (as most of you know what's we've had on our plate since December). I'll include more of my thoughts later as time allows. :). Posted by The Erickson Family. At the top of our list for our dream property was location (not too far out of town), and second, was the view. This property met both! Feel fre...

Reed Life Adventures

Saturday, November 9, 2013. We were at Josh's soccer game and mom is standing next to me and says, "wow look how that dog just hangs there on the fence like that! We laughed and laughed. That is so mom. Proud of our cub scout. Josh earned his bobcat in September! I love scouts and Josh sure does a good job at it. After Pack Night he stayed and cleaned up and was one of the last ones there. He knows how to treat his Akayla's. This is how it started out. Brien says she can't ever way makeup!

Kitchen To Kitchen | Cooking, baking, eating….wherever life takes us.

Cooking, baking, eating.wherever life takes us. This recipe works well with any kind of bread, but a nice French bread or sourdough is perfect if you want to be fancy. I wasn’t feeling too fancy so I just used a left over baguette from dinner the night before. It made perfect little dippers. (Normally though, I use Wonder Breadlike a bad momwho doesn’t make her kids eat whole wheat bread like I should.). Recipe adapted from http:/ www.cooks.com/. Join 9 other followers.
