Monday, July 16, 2012. Yesterday an investigator family came to church for the first time! We were so happy to be with them, and to try and let them fill the spirit! So during the games I received a phone call, and to hear the voice on the other line was wonderful! Elder Hans Boom (area seventy of europe)! What a wonderful man (he was our stake president)! He started to speak to me in Dutch which was great to be able to show him my rad skills, and then on to English! It's going to be a great week! Super ...

Kyle woke me up at midnight to be the first one to tell me Happy Birthday, and then he sent me on a scavenger hunt with clues to the next spot to find a present! It made me so happy because I wasn’t expecting anything since we bought snorkeling gear and decided to call that our birthday gifts to each other. It made me so happy to know he put that much work into making me happy for my birthday! And they brought me homemade Poppy seed bread!

Monday, June 11, 2012. I’ve gone through a ton of different cravings. It was French toast, then refried beans (they were the only thing that didn’t make me want to puke), pickles, waffles, rice and Kalua Pork from Kainoas, and strawberries! After 2 or three days of having them, I was sick of that food and it made me nauseas to think about it. Salsa is the only craving that I still have :) The spicier the better! Thursday, June 14, 2012. We got approved for AHCCCS today! It was going to be $900 on the sliding scale, but thankfully with AHCCCS we won’t have to pay near as much! The Lord truly watches over us. July 2, 2012 at 2:33 PM. AHCCCS really is a blessing! Its the reason we survived financially when I was pregnant with Veja. Monday, July 9, 2012. I decided to announce our pregnancy to everyone on facebook on our anniversary :) This is how I did it:. I can't believe that as of today, I have been married to my sweet Kyle for 1 YEAR! I have loved spending so much time with him! He is an amazing husband and I couldn't ask for a more perfect life! Something else new to us that we are excited to experience is being parents! We are 6 months away from welcoming in a new member of our family! And I saw the coolest frog in the water!

Thursday, July 5, 2012. I recorded both the ultrasound and heartbeat (I accidently pushed 'stop' instead of 'start' on the camera the first time we heard the heartbeat so she did it again for me). Right after the Doctor finished the ultrasound Kyle texted me that he was on his way. I showed her the text and was way bummed. She said 'well we can do another one when he gets here'. I was sooooo happy! The ultrasound we got to see together was amazing! Even the doctor was surprised we saw it that well!
