Pooh's Thotful Spot: A Free Gift...
http://poohs-thotful-spot.blogspot.com/p/would-you-like-free-gift.html
The free gift that I’m talking about is Eternal Life in Heaven with our. Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”. Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”. The first step in accepting God‘s Free Gift is to admit that you are a sinner. Next, understand that you deserve death for your sin. Ask God to forgive you and save you&#...

Saturday, July 02, 2011. Souped-up Meatballs and Hamburgers. We love burgers and meatballs, and if you're planning to serve either this 4th of July, why not "soup them up"? If you've never tried adding onion soup mix to your meat before cooking, let me suggest you try it now. It tastes so good and the meat is so moist! Make patties and marinate for a few hours before cooking. 1 1/2 lb hamburger. 1 packet onion soup mix. 3 TBSP water (or beef bouillon). 3 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce. Links to this post.

http://poohs-thotful-spot.blogspot.com/p/homeschooling-stuff.html
See below for some of our field trips). I mentioned before that we've homeschooled now for several years-well, since 2000, if that tells you anything. I am in no way an authority in the homeschooling world. But I can tell you what worked for us and how we viewed the programs we used, and maybe it will help you in making the curriculum choice or maybe you're just considering homeschooling. Plus you get the added benefit of just being with your children! Note: As I've stated on my About Me. They had to she...

I'm also thankful that our oldest daughter Sarah and her hubby Matt were able to be here the weekend that Mom passed away and they were able to stay for the funeral. What a blessing it was to have them here with us! I just am so grateful to all my family for their support! On a lighter note, our son Nate is getting married this November, the weekend before Thanksgiving! I can't believe all my "babies" are grown up! I feel so old! Welcome to a new year!

Monday, April 16, 2012. The Storms of Life. The Storms of Life. Devotion I used at this month's ladies meeting). I don’t know about you, but even though storms are fascinating, they always scare me because I worry so much about tornados. Even when we lived in Texas, since it’s kind of in that “belt” they talk about, I always worried about a tornado touching down and I have been it at least one. In Mark 4, Jesus had been teaching the disciples throughout the day, and starting at verse 35 it says:. Even th...
