With all the staff of ABC’s college, academy, and clinic, on-campus housing is in high demand and several of our friends have already spent a year living outside the ABC walls. Monday, April 22, 2013. A couple of weeks ago we took our family and went to visit Zomba, which is about 4 hours from our house and is located within an hour from the big city of Blantyre. There are a number of ABC students who live in Zomba and our friend, Chikondi (a senior at ABC) graciously offered to guide us to his home town. We have been hearing for two years how beautiful Zomba is and we are very happy to discover that it is perhaps the most beautiful place that we have visited in Malawi so far.

Saturday, September 29, 2012. During my family’s visit, we also took a week to travel around Malawi. We headed south (about 3 hours away) to Mvuu Camp in Liwonde National Park. We enjoyed three days and two nights of safari with the kids. Mvuu Camp is right on the Shire River, so we were able to enjoy both boat safaris and land safaris.
