Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Final Decision For The Crocheted Edge. Well, my little Crayola Checola/Crayola Vest is completed along with the crocheted edging. After completing the vest, I grabbed a string and started crocheting before realizing that I would need to do a bit of coordinating because of the bold colors. I first chose a rust color from the Silk Garden. Nice but, I didn't like it. After trying two more shades, I setteled on the chartruse. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Saturday, April 19, 2008. Hairpin Lace Shawl from Vogue Magazine 2007. Hers is a shawl I thought about making but never got around to it. I've never done any hairpin lacing. I have heard that it's very easy. If I take on this project, I will probably make it a bit shorter. Although she appears to be dressed up, I wouldn't have a problem wearing this over a shirt or turtleneck for work. One thing though. It does look as though it would catch on to a lot of things with it being a bit loopy. Okay, I did it.
