Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Melly Belly is now 2 months old! I'm a lucky momma, she sleeps 6 hours at night and is a very happy baby. She's a lot more awake during the day and always smiling and cooing. She absolutely loves her daddy! When he gets home in the evenings, all she wants to do is play with him. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Melodie is 7 months! Time has flown by and in so many ways I wish I could freeze time and have her stay this big forever. This has been a very exciting month with some major developmental milestones. She is crawling backwards! This has David and I super excited - she is going to be crawling forward before we know it! Along with crawling, she can also sit herself up and go back down onto her tummy again. So she can giggle and do it again. What a stinker. And she is so excited...

Monday, February 28, 2011. Those of you who know David and I really well also know we share a love of refurnishing old furniture. Just about every Saturday we get up early and search multiple D.I.'s and other various thrift stores for "little treasures" we can make our own. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. The Many Faces of Melodie. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Cutest geese we've ever seen. Of course we had to pause to feed the baby. My turn to carry her around. We were so smart to not bring the stroller; it made things a lot easier. I think Melodie was much more comfortable as well. I love to look at the cows! I asked Melodie what she thought of it all on the ride home, and she gave me a nice smile. I'm assuming that means she enjoyed herself. Hooray for a new awesome BBQ!
