Thursday, October 23, 2014. I have declared myself unofficially retired. I am no longer raising children, I no longer have my dog business, in fact I no longer have any dogs of my own or any plans to acquire any (sigh). Actually no pets of any kind, no dogs, no cats, no rabbits, no guinea pigs, nothing , nada, nil, zilch. So it is time once again to reinvent myself. Friday, February 7, 2014. Dunn is no longer with me, having taken his last breath January 31. My client Judy, who was Dunn's owner for the first 9 years of his life and passed away from breast cancer in June, is now reunited with her "big dog". Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Since I am newly retired (heehee), and currently bored, I have the freedom and desire to accompany Chuck more when he travels for work. A couple weeks ago Chuck needed to go to Provo Utah on a recruiting trip. He has a couple of open territories in his district he needs to fill, so he was interviewing soon-to-be graduating seniors. I decided to tag along and keep him company. What could be more autumncentric (I just made that word up) than fall foliage, turkey and football?

To move on, I wanted to share with you what I made Evelyn for her birthday coming up in July. since she can't yet read, I feel safe sharing it with you. 29 YEARS AND COUNTING! Today is our 29th wedding anniversary. Where has the time gone? Why are we that solid foundation? There is no one else I would rather spend the next 29 years with.

Thursday, May 29, 2014. What an exciting day- in so many ways! However, my day took an unexpected turn when I woke up at 5:30am to find Chuck moaning and groaning next to me in bed. He had gotten up to take a shower and get ready to catch a 7am flight when he had an intense onset of chest pain, with sweating and nausea. Yikes! And said it must of been indigestion?
