Childhood Medications…yay.or.nay. Medicating your children for behavioral problems. I have always been very standoffish about people medicating their children for behavioral problems. On one hand I believe that sometimes it is medically necessary. On the other hand I believe that medications are handed out to children too readily and most of the time the behavior can be resolved without medication. I am going to research different methods and medications and try to decide what I want to do.

Childhood Medications…yay.or.nay. It seems to me that the potential side effects outweigh the positive aspect of giving my daughter the drug! Now, like I said…these are “potential” side effects so they may not even be an issue. However, there is also a possibility that they will, and that scares me. The side effects can usually be handled by switching drugs, changing dosage or stopping the medicinal treatment all together. What do you think? Medicating Children….When does it stop?
