I did see him walking to his big pile of ice, but it's not the same. Yes, I am whining! Thursday, July 30, 2015. I swear this was the fastest trip we've ever made to Florida.it seemed we pulled in and we were pulling out! It was closed while we were there. This was the sidewalks in Charleston. I got my sweetgrass basket!

He is in 2nd grade and he hasn't threatened to quit yet:) This is actually his last week, I have 2 more after this one! Lucky Ashton. He has made quite a few friends, I think they are going to miss him when he is gone! Ashton will probably enjoy sleeping in and playing video games all day.but maybe a tiny part of him will miss the 36 2nd graders he mentored this summer!

It goes pretty quickly and we've been so lucky so far.the weather has been beautiful! Thursday, August 28, 2014. Chicago Comic Con 2014. I am just now recovering from this weekend getaway! I know why we've always done all 4 days before.because trying to shove 4 days into 2 is just not possible! And, it makes you incredibly exhausted! But, the weekend was all we could manage this year and it was Saturday and Sunday or nothing. Us, not go? Day 1, all happy and ready to go ( some of us.).
