It is truly very amazing to know that islam is origianted/related to Vedic culture. I do beleive that Shiva is there somehow. I also do beleive that Varanasi( Banareas) has the next key to establish the relationship between Vedic culture and Islam. Banares is the city of Lord Shiva. I encourage you to explore this city and get some links/ insights which are hidden for centuries.
