Ang & The Boys: 1st Grade Zoo Field Trip
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2010/05/1st-grade-zoo-field-trip.html
Ang and The Boys. Thursday, May 6, 2010. 1st Grade Zoo Field Trip. Ben had a field trip to the zoo the Monday after his birthday. All of us were so TIRED that following Monday after the football game. Ben and myself actually fell asleep on the bus ride to the zoo. Here is a picture of my angel, you can almost see the halo! I must say the April 26 th. Was the coldest day we have had in weeks. It was windy (what do you expect in Kansas) and COLD but we survived. The grizzly bear was funny. He straddled.
Ang & The Boys: Calling it a day
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2010/04/calling-it-day.html
Ang and The Boys. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Calling it a day. I just posted my "Easter" post, or so I thought.I went to "view blog" and it wasn't there. Then I panicked and wondered if Luke was signed in on the computer. If that was the case my post was on his "Team Liberia 2010" blog. Oh yes, sure enough, there it was on Team Liberia's Blog. I quickly hit delete and 30 minutes of work vanished into cyber. Space So, I think I will call it day and go spend some time with Luke. :). A Year of Slow Cooking.

Ang and The Boys. Friday, May 7, 2010. Grandma, Mom and Boys Special Day. Last weekend, Luke went on the men's retreat with our church. Luke had 2 days of hard core fishing and I had two hard core days with boys. We wanted to go golfing at the country club but they had some " Jayhawk. Fundraiser and the golf course was closed. Therefore, we had to "settle" for miniature golfing with grandma. We went golfing after we had lunch with Auntie Al at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch-YUM! Thursday, May 6, 2010.

http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Ang and The Boys. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. On our way to swimming lessons Monday, Ben was very excited. He took my hand and brought me to the following flower pot. Your flower is growing". Yes, I have had good intentions of planting flowers but life got in the way. So I drug the kids to Hesston. AND even Stone Creek Nursery was low on flowers. We did manage to find a few things to choose from. Now we have real flowers and not weeds. I still have one more flower pot to fill under the Chinese Maple. Ben and...

Ang & The Boys: March 2010
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Ang and The Boys. Thursday, March 25, 2010. We stayed pretty busy over spring break. Monday, we met some friends to go swimming in Hesston. I forgot my camera but there were 4 tired boys when we were done! On Tuesday, Leah, from our Bible Study invited a bunch of us to go to the armory and "play" on some of the equipment. It was a lot of fun to get to play on "real" army trucks rather than playing with Uncle Louie's old G.I. Joe sets! Were as excited about screaming kids as we were! Tuesday, March 2, 2010.
Ang & The Boys: January 2010
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Ang and The Boys. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Monday was the big day for our family, knowing our missing "link" would be home that night. Mid afternoon I got a call from Luke and our conversation went something like this:. Luke: Could you call and make me an appointment with Dr. E. tomorrow? Me: Sure. What do I need to tell them you need to be seen for? Luke: (Hesitating) Just tell them I scratched my leg in Liberia. Luke: My phone is almost out of battery so I will call you on my way home. On Monday, th...
Ang & The Boys: November 2009

Ang and The Boys. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Very exciting things have been happening at the Schmidt household and I think it is time to share! Last weekend Luke went to Fairplay. Colorado for a "missions retreat." It was the same weekend I wanted to be in Muscatine. Iowa to hear Scott Harrison speak from Charity Water ( water4 christmas. But things never materialized. Ang & The Boys: Luke's Garden
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2010/04/lukes-garden.html
Ang and The Boys. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. It has been 7 YEARS. Since Luke has had a garden. Finally, this year we decided the boys were old enough that we could devote some time to gardening. Our soil is like clay so Luke has been doing a lot of prep work getting the soil ready. He has cut the cable tv. A few times (I think the boys moved the flags.imagine) but thank goodness he is very "handy" and knows how to "splice" things back together. I think it is a win-win situation! April 15, 2010 at 6:27 AM.
Ang & The Boys: October 2009
http://angieschmidt88.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Ang and The Boys. Sunday, October 18, 2009. Despite all the illness, I went against my "better" judgement and we went to the K-State vs. Texas A&M game in Manhattan on Saturday. Jacob has had a sinus infection for days and I was sick Friday night/Saturday morning. Here is my REASONING for making myself and the kids hang out in the cold:. And her friend wanted to come with us to this game for months.Luke looked hard for weeks before he found tickets. 3 We were celebrating my mom's BIRTHDAY at the game.
