A little bit of (Baked) Bre. Sunday, December 13, 2009. A Sweet Sixteen Style 45th Birthday. These girly cakes were made for LauraBeth's 45th Birthday celebration! They were a yummy carrot cake with pink cream cheese frosting covered with roses and pearls. This was definitely one of my favorite orders. LauraBeth told me she wanted to go "Sweet 16" with the theme, but to keep in mind that this was "more of a sophisticated 16-year old." Love it. Posted by BreAnne Cunningham. So, step two was combining two cups heavy cream with corn syrup and honey (my addition). Then I added two cups sugar, the apple cider syrup and 6 tablespoons butter and I stirred until the butter melted. I cooked it on high until the mixture was at a rolling boil.
