Op Shoppers Wanted - Apply Here! What Makes A Good Op Shop. Op Shop For Sale. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Huge thanks to Desley from Sandlewood Op Shop. For helping open my eyes on the running costs involved with managing an op shop. My notes are in blue by the way! Working as a volunteer in an Op Shop, I am often asked “who is responsible for your pricing”. Usually this question is followed by “your prices are too expensive” and “will you take X for this? The Qld Government have a rigorous application ...

Winter warmers [Part 1]. Restyle Challenge →. Winter warmers [Part 2]. April 30, 2013. Well in the last week, Perth has actually felt some cold. Wet stuff has been falling from the sky causing traffic to stop (Perth drivers…). This was one of those Melbourne coats and it’s long enough to cover my butt (important when it’s cold) but short enough to be stylish and cool and chic and all those other things that I definitely am not in the middle of winter. Then we have this leather jacket. It smells as ro...

Which really inspired me to start sewing. Being that I am an editor on Refashion Co-op. It seems sensible to dedicate a linky page to my own refashions, DIY projects and garment made from scratch. Thats an awesome line up. December 14, 2011 at 9:50 PM. January 7, 2012 at 1:40 PM. Hey, great website! Itd be kinda awesome if...

Recycled Fashion: Hawaiian Muumuu Refashion
http://www.recycled-fashion.com/2012/03/hawaiian-muumuu-refashion.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. I spoke of a refashion dilemma. A few weeks back, which is now rectified and complete. After rushing to refashion my Hawaiian Hilo Hattie Muumuu, scored from divasvintage. I cut far too much length, which deemed the dress completely unwearable for day time wear. This is the 'before' refashion disaster. Here's where it all went wrong. I used an existing (short) dress for a template. I am re-reading what I've just said! I found not one, but six mint green men's necktie's in Famil...

Recycled Fashion: Love at First Sight Bauhaus Coat
http://www.recycled-fashion.com/2010/05/love-at-first-sight.html
Love at First Sight Bauhaus Coat. Monday, May 24, 2010. I discovered a Salvos Store online that ( gasp. I hadn’t been to before ( surely not. Salvos Carrum Downs is on a corner just off Dandenong Frankston Road. Situated in an industrial area, I can't imagine it would get a lot of passing foot traffic, but seems to have a regular stream of shoppers that know about its location. Secondly, a gorgeous red wool/viscose winter duffle coat by Bauhaus for $30 had my name on it, you could say love at first site:.
