Origami Collage | a little idea

November 29, 2015. I love origami. I learned some basic origami during my Japanese lessons in primary school and ever since I haven’t been able to stop experimenting with different origami models. It has been awhile since. At first I wanted to plaster the whole collage with the stars, but as I started gluing them down I decide to create a night scene instead, filed with stars, birds and houses. I’m pretty happy with it; I may still add a few more houses or paper cranes- it feels a little unfinished!

Little Swag of Books. Exploring the landscape of Australia's written words. November 25, 2013. Initially, I intended to blog for a year, but I was enjoying it so much, I continued. Thanks again for all your support, and, as always, happy reading! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Exploring the l...

Little Swag of Books. Exploring the landscape of Australia's written words. What Else I Read This Month…. November 4, 2013. I’ve decided to start this new post on the first Monday of every month, because I don’t exclusively read Australian books. I choose to blog about Australian books because I’m exploring what makes a book Australian, but to read exclusively Australian books would be to shut out a large majority of wonderful reads! The new edition of Frankie. And the experiences of different families a...

Little Swag of Books. Exploring the landscape of Australia's written words. 8216;The Lifted Brow’, edited by Sam Cooney. January 22, 2013. Late last year, I discovered a gem of the Australian literary scene. I can’t remember exactly how I found them, but I stumbled onto their website late one night and, looking through the content, I was intrigued enough to buy an issue of. Magazine. I soon discovered it was a magazine full of surprises, and well worth eleven (Australian) dollars. For restoring my faith ...

Glossary of Lebanese Words. On Old Knees and Running Thoughts on Sanctification. Today I ran a 5k and I made awful time. As I was plugging away, watching the people in front of me grow fainter and more distant, I had a recurring thought that went something like this, "Why am I in such bad shape? a Little of this, a Little of that

A Little of this, a Little of that. How I deal with Adult Attention Retention Disorder. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Watching the garden grow. Even tho this photo is from last year, I find myself doing the same thing as our dogs are doing. Watching the garden grow! Even tho it is sprinkling today, I have walked to my tomato plants 3x today to "watch them grow". I swear that the tiny little peppers doubled in size overnight. H says that's not possible. a little "i" life | because it isn’t really about me

A little “i” life. Because it isn’t really about me. What does “a little i life” mean? March 21, 2009. I saw the link for this video of an underwater volcano erupting near Tonga, and was too intrigued not to watch it. Click here for the link. My thoughts, though, were something like this:. But Dude, do you realize you are IN.THE.WATER.ABOVE.A.VOLCANO.WHILE.IT.IS.ERUPTING-are you mad? Am i alone in this thinking? I do have to add that only God could design something as incredible as underwater volcanoes.
