liquorice torpedoes: October 2008
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Saturday, 25 October 2008. Well, my CRB check has FINALLY come through so I'm able to start work in a week. I'm excited, a little anxious/nervous and a bit sad as Rosie will be with a childminder whilst I'm at work. On the other hand, she'll be 11 months old, so I'm lucky I've managed to have a whole year off work. Where am I at at the moment with IE? So I have to ask what function it's serving? I'm not sure what purpo...

liquorice torpedoes: November 2007
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Thursday, 29 November 2007. Well all the good vibes may have helped with the breech! I had my midwife's appt yesterday (and she brought the birthing bag) and she thinks that the baby is now head down. I'm going for the scan on monday to double check but she thinks it's okay. The interview didn't go very well. I'm waiting to see what happens but got a bit tongue tied (very very unusual for me! Thursday, 22 November 2007.

liquorice torpedoes: September 2007
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Monday, 3 September 2007. Thinking about forbidden foods and healthy eating. I think this is one of the most interesting aspects of intutive eating - how to strike a balance. I don't think I have many/any forbidden foods left though I still can't have enough ice cream (but I've decided it's a pregnancy craving for calcium). As this really gives you the freedom to eat whatever you want. I've also really noticed that som...

An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Wednesday, 26 March 2008. Day 6 I am not a dustbin and Day 7 Enjoy. I threw away the sad cake (after picking off the icing! I also brought the remainder of the cake to my breastfeeding clinic and shared it with the other ladies there. This not only stops it going off, but prevents me from pigging out on it. Mmm I'm hungry already. Posted by Liquorice Torpedoes. Monday, 24 March 2008. Day 5 - stop when you are satisfied.

liquorice torpedoes: July 2007
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Tuesday, 31 July 2007. I'm annoyed today. I got into work and my boss gave me my CDPM (appraisal document with a list of goals). The thing is, this is supposed to have been given out in JANUARY! And it has a creation date of 4/2/07! Even worse, it's got goals due that are ongoing or due to be completed by 1st Sept. If I achieve these goals I get a bonus, well that's likely to happen- not! Posted by Liquorice Torpedoes.

liquorice torpedoes: Uphill struggle
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2008/08/uphill-struggle.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Tuesday, 19 August 2008. I had a minor success yesterday, I kind of missed lunch and got to about 5pm and realised I was starving whilst in Sainsbury's. Obviously our cupboards are now particularly full of nice things, but I managed to talk to myself and ask if I really wanted sweet food or something a little more filling. We probably drink too much wine too, which doesn't help. My consumption has decreased (well i...

liquorice torpedoes: January 2008
http://liquoricetorpedoes.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
An intuitive eating journey using the Beyond Chocolate and Normal Eating philosophies. Thursday, 10 January 2008. Learning from my baby. It's fascinating seeing the little new life unfolding and developing in front of my eyes. It's teaching me about eating and being. Rosie demands food and can be hungry half an hour after her last meal and as far as she's concerned that's that. She won't wait, she wants it immediately (unfortunately). Demand feeding seems to be me to be intuitive eating. I had my accepta...
