Maradawga: Interesting tidbit ...
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2006/08/interesting-tidbit.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Saw this in Jack Bell's article in the New York Times today. DC United is expected to announce the signing of Matías Donnet, a 26-year-old Argentine midfielder. M.L.S. has received a $2 million offer for Kansas City striker Eddie Johnson from West Bromwich Albion of England. To that I say this: Take it, Garberinho, as fast as you can. Maradawga: August 2005

American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Monday, August 22, 2005. I can still learn things. Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Chivas USA - MetroStars game at Giants Stadium. A good crowd, a great game and a tough finish for las rayadas. Made for quite an enjoyable experience. Here's what I learned at the game. 8226; Antonio Martinez on the left side had all sorts of room to run in but he kept running offsides or couldn't get anyone to serve him the ball. At least in the fi...

Maradawga: MLS in the real world ...
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2006/08/mls-in-real-world.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Friday, August 11, 2006. MLS in the real world . It's easy, being as immersed as we all are, to forget that there's a whole big world out there that doesn't care about (or even know) MLS. So while this article is full of minute errors and assumptions. It's a good snapshot of what people think of MLS right now. Posted by maradawga at 12:12 PM. New York, New York, United States. Maradawga: April 2005
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Sunday, April 24, 2005. Ed Hardin of the Greensboro News and Record. As I read your article this morning at home at my parents' kitchen table, I pretty much read right through it. There was nothing to complain or argue about, nor was there any major nuggets of information that I was blown-away to read. It's the day after the first day of the draft . what is there to say, anyway? I wish all the best for Thomas Davis and the Panthers . I'll be ro...

Maradawga: Some Good Stadium News
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2006/08/some-good-stadium-news.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Friday, August 11, 2006. Some Good Stadium News. In the good stadium news department, it looks like K.C. is barreling towards a deal to keep them in K.C. Mr Checketts, if you're listening, please copy and paste that formula for acquiring a stadium into your own. Looks like it's official. Finally, some good stadium news. Posted by maradawga at 1:41 PM. I agree with that. I'm not sure I'll believe it until I see the first kickoff. It's a Simple Game.

Maradawga: Sure there important things afoot, but this is too funny ...
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2006/08/sure-there-important-things-afoot-but.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Thursday, August 17, 2006. Sure there important things afoot, but this is too funny . There are not many things that I've yet to accomplish since moving to New York. One of them, however, was having a legitimate conversation with a crazy person. And not only was she crazy, she was uppity as well. Therefore, she is named CrazyUppity. CU: Soccer's awful. Put on a real sport. Me: What's wrong with soccer? But she wasn't done. CrazyUppity continued...

Maradawga: What a Week ...
http://maradawga.blogspot.com/2006/08/what-week.html
American soccer served extra crispy with a side of slaw. Saturday, August 12, 2006. What a Week . The news that Real Salt Lake has broken ground on its Sandy stadium. Today caps an amazing week for MLS. Five sold out international exhibitions including two of MLS teams versus the world's best, two new stadium groundbreakings set and an All-Star team win over Chelsea is something that even last year didn't seem very likely. The RSL stadium seems to be all set to be up and running for the summer of '08.
