Asymp; 2 Comments. As a Christmas gift for Jacob’s family we arranged to get some family photos taken. I connected with Julia White Photography. And she was very kind to fit us in to her schedule. She got some great pictures of us all. Here are a few of my favorites:. Pictures are such a blessing to have. I’m glad we were able to get this photo shoot in while everyone was in the same place at the same time. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Thoughts on “Young Family Photos”. Fun on the Farm. Asymp; 1 Comment. During our trip down south over Christmas we spent quite a bit of time at the Young’s “Farm.” I’m not sure if farm is the appropriate word, but as there is a barn we’ll go with that for now. Suggestions for other terminology are welcome! I’ve still got more posts coming from our trip, so stay tuned! Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Thought on “Fun on the Farm”. https://theyoungfam.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/christmas-morning-at-home
8220;Christmas Morning” at Home. Asymp; 2 Comments. This year we decided to break with our usual tradition and travel South for Christmas. Before we left however, we decided to have a mini Christmas morning at home. This was mainly for us to give Owen his gifts and for Owen to give us “his” gifts. We had the traditional Young Family Sausage Rolls as well as a nice fire in the fireplace. Owen very much enjoyed opening his gifts and proceeded to play with them for quite some time. Scenes of Daily Life. Asymp; 3 Comments. I thought you might enjoy a peek into a few scenes from daily life around here. They should give you a pretty good idea of what exactly Owen is like these days. The Cat in the Hat. Coloring with a two year old makes me especially thankful for the existence of washable crayons. We had our first crayon on the wall incident this week and thanks to the combination of washable crayons and non-flat wall paint it easily wiped off without leaving a mark. Next post →.

Asymp; 4 Comments. Two weeks ago we had our annual Christmas Cookie baking/decorating/eating day. Aunt Brittany. This year we traveled down to Baltimore to help Brittany break in her new baking supplies. There were a few hiccups in adjusting to a new oven, new cookie sheets, new everything but all in all things went well and we each ended up with a pretty substantial amount of cookies! While we were busy making cookies, Owen enjoyed exploring Aunt Brittany and Uncle Jon’s apartment. Larr; Previous post.

Asymp; 1 Comment. That afternoon we all drove back to my parents for our Christmas feast. We had a very traditional Christmas meal of turkey, ham, stuffing, veggies, etc. It was delicious. In case you are wondering where Jacob and Owen are in the above picture, Jacob is taking the picture and Owen was taking his nap. Don’t worry, Owen got to eat plenty of Christmas dinner leftovers when he woke up! Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Thought on “Christmas Festivities”. January 21, 2013 at 9:24 am.
