Founded by Mike DiStaula, the name Aliyah comes from his ongoing project of developing an interactive story about relationships and the uncertainty of the human mind. The name 'Aliyah' has roots from Hebrew and means 'Rising'. Using MonoGame and Xamarin, this project is a 'metroidvania' style psycological horror story. Developing frameworks for learning, behavioral theropy, and social skills. Using mechanics inspired by the MOBA genre, this turnbased strategy is being developed with Unity.
