Thursday, March 31, 2011. Mockingbird Jabberjay = Mockingjay? At first, I must admit, I was skeptical. The whole idea of this type of lottery where someone from each town (or district) was randomly selected to go and basically get killed (assuming they weren’t going to win) was pretty disturbing. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Needless to say, this class has definitely been a mind. I have changed my outlook quite a bit no reading as well as on our society as American citizens. By reading and viewing things such as Culture Jam. America, It's Gotta Be the Cheese", Fahrenheit 451. Overall, I think this class helped me learn so much about myself as well as the society I live in. If I had the choice, I would definitely do it all over again! Thursday, April 7, 2011.
