Right to remain cynical: The great reject
http://cynigal.blogspot.com/2008/02/great-reject.html
Right to remain cynical. Saturday, February 16, 2008. Well, I got a rejection notice from Glimmertrain press today. It was the first piece I'd submitted for publication in . well, ever, if you don't count the poetry I submitted to the Flying Island (which, I do believe was also rejected, even though I haven't heard anything back). Wait I take that back. I've also had two other pieces rejected in the past year. I can't complain about it - well, I. God, I've gotta get help, don't I? I set myself up to fail...

Life on the Nascat Timetrial Circuit: Hi Ho Hi Ho, to Hagerstown we go...

Life on the Nascat Timetrial Circuit. Friday, June 20, 2008. Hi Ho Hi Ho, to Hagerstown we go. To be able to actually turn around in the kitchen or even fit in there with Py and Sahara walking behind me. I know that somewhere in this world, other people can actually open their dishwasher and oven door at the same time and I want to be counted in their numbers! I know what I will be dreaming about tonight. Mark Harmon, No (well ok, maybe) Johnny Depp? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The next time some...

Life on the Nascat Timetrial Circuit: My son really wasn't raised by wolves...honest

Life on the Nascat Timetrial Circuit. Sunday, August 3, 2008. My son really wasn't raised by wolves.honest. Ok, in keeping with our wierd little family traditions, my middle son is moving just a few weeks before we are. I'm not sure exactly why this happens, but he moved to Richmond the same weekend we moved into our current apartment almost three years ago. I don't think it's so that he gets out of helping, life just does those funny little things to us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Which means I...

Cat~astrophe: September 2007
http://cat-astrophe82.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 12 September 2007. We wondered how Socks kept getting out, now I have photographic evidence! Sorry it's blurry :). Friday, 7 September 2007. The pot on the left has had my old cattery cat Sam's ashes in it since he died nearly a year ago. In spring it grows daffodils. The pot on the right was planted today and contains Valentino's ashes. The spot where they are is in their favourite place - right where the staff enjoy their breaks so they could always guarantee a titbit! London, United Kingdom.

Cat~astrophe: February 2008
http://cat-astrophe82.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 16 February 2008. On wednesday I noticed my bunny, Molly, had a lump on her side so she had it removed yesterday. The vet said the lump was the size of a pingpong ball! He gave me the option of having it biopsied but as there's nothing that can be done if it was malignate I decided against it. Last night she was still very wobbly and this morning she had laboured breathing and hadn't eaten so I rushed her to the vet who said she had a cold. I didn't even know rabbits could catch a cold!

Still More Random Mutterings: April 2009

Still More Random Mutterings. Random Thoughts from Colorado author, K.E. Lampe (Rhiannon Webster) on all kinds of divers things from Alphabet Soup to Zoroaster. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Again with the not sleeping. I don't think it's because of last night's nightmare, though I could be mistaken. I guess not, because the last time I posted before yesterday afternoon was before I knew the date of it. Not of yesterday, of the hearing. I must be tired. My head hurts too. Monday, April 13, 2009. In the middle...

Still More Random Mutterings. Random Thoughts from Colorado author, K.E. Lampe (Rhiannon Webster) on all kinds of divers things from Alphabet Soup to Zoroaster. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. How do I manifest a change in my life? Well, not so much in my life as in my financial situation. I pretty much like my life, but the money sucks big hairy moose wang. Why must I always be poor? I wonder where Caitlin and Timber went? They were living in my head for months and now I can't find them at all. Yes, Im Alive.

Still More Random Mutterings. Random Thoughts from Colorado author, K.E. Lampe (Rhiannon Webster) on all kinds of divers things from Alphabet Soup to Zoroaster. Friday, February 25, 2011. In Memoriam: Heather MacAllister, 25 Feb. 1968 - 13 Feb. 2007. I've been thinking about Heather all day, on what would have been her 43rd birthday. She was sixteen, then. I moved to New York and she moved to Santa Barbara. She came to visit me at Christmas. Later, she sent me an airline ticket to come visit her&...I rem...

Still More Random Mutterings: I thought I was over it, but I'm not

Still More Random Mutterings. Random Thoughts from Colorado author, K.E. Lampe (Rhiannon Webster) on all kinds of divers things from Alphabet Soup to Zoroaster. Thursday, August 18, 2011. I thought I was over it, but I'm not. As long as I've lived, as far back as I can remember, I have always believed that if I did not do everything exactly right, if I caused any kind of trouble for the people around me, I would be exposed on the mountains for the wolves or left out in the snow to die. I confessed to my ...

Still More Random Mutterings. Random Thoughts from Colorado author, K.E. Lampe (Rhiannon Webster) on all kinds of divers things from Alphabet Soup to Zoroaster. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. I'm Tired of "The Journey". The next time someone tells me to "enjoy The Journey," I'm going to slap him upside the head. Or puke on his shoes. I get that this might be a valuable piece of advice for Type-A persons who are entirely goal-oriented. I'm not one of them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Im Tired of The Journey.
