With much anticipation, the class lists were posted yesterday and we discovered that many of Anna's good friends would be with her in the same class with a great new teacher, Miss Tormey. The annual photo of Anna and Grace. Pretty sure we'll be getting this photo every year. Its a fun way to watch them grow! Walking with their new teacher to their classroom for the first time.

News and notes from the dark side of the womb.". Sunday, April 27, 2014. This Spring Break we hit the open road south to Santa Barbara, then onto Palm Springs and then back. Lots of pool time and adventures make for happy kids (and parents and grandparents)! Early dismissal from school and we're off! We got to meet a 3 day old foal at a friend's house - the mother sneezed right in their faces! Decorating cupcakes they made with Nana! Having a blast in the bath. And in the outdoor misters. This is the life.

Well, we weren't at home much during the month of July but the time we did spend here was spent primarily at the golf course or the swimming pool. These kids have it ROUGH! Hanging with the birds at her friend Marnie's birthday party. With Nana and Papa. Sharing hugs with her friend Marley who broke her leg and had to sit out for the rest of soccer season. Soccer practice by moonlight. Lunch and a nap outside. Hanging out at the park with Brady, Hayden and Quinn. Checking out the course with Dad. More soccer. Anna in goal.

When we got home to my Aunt's house after LEGOLAND we had some dinner and waited for my cousin RJ and his daughter Aliza to arrive from the airport. They live in Denver so we don't get to see them much but the girls always have the best time together.

Seeing her friend "Moose Cream" (aka Gracie) for the first time since school got out! Reunited - Anna, Marnie and Joshua. 2nd grade waiting patiently for their turn to parade into their classroom. Well, technically its t-ball but everyone seems to refer to it as softball anyway. We had a feeling Anna would like softball but missed signups last year, so this year we made sure to get her signed up in time. Her team's name is the Leprechauns and has a few girls from her class at school on it mixed in with some new friends from different schools. The Wonder Weeks...
