http://londonbooktramp.blogspot.com/2011/08/princess-in-park.html
The Book Tramp in London. Eliza Lane, Summer 2011. Monday, August 1, 2011. Princess in the Park. Today we started our day with a run through the Diana, Princess of Wales Playground. This playground is one of several in London that is not open to adults unless they come with children. Fortunately they do open the gates between 9:30 and 10am for unaccompanied adults. Photo courtesy of Elizabeth Price. The park has a Peter Pan theme. Not pictured: a giant pirate ship. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Book Tramp in London: Insatiable
http://londonbooktramp.blogspot.com/2011/08/insatiable.html
The Book Tramp in London. Eliza Lane, Summer 2011. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Paris seemed to be all about Napoleon. The Arc de Triomphe, the restoration of Versailles, and many of the bridges across the Seine, are all attributed to him. So Paris = Napoleon. And, of course, public displays of affection. Today, those of us who were not sick in our flats traveled by bus and train to Hampton Court, the home of Henry VIII. Divorced, beheaded, died; divorced, beheaded, survived.". The annual provision of meat f...

The Book Tramp in London. Eliza Lane, Summer 2011. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Due today is our third major project, the digital story. The Book Tramp in London. Eliza Lane, Summer 2011. Friday, July 22, 2011. Those Poor British Bastards. On our first Saturday in London, we were scheduled to have a tour of Bloomsbury, the area in which we live. Somehow it got jumbled and our guide did not show up. Since it was pouring rain, many people chose instead to go to various museums around the city. I headed to the Foundling Museum, a short walk with my pink umbrella. Life at the Foundling Hospital was harsh, with many stories of cruel punishment...

http://londonbooktramp.blogspot.com/2011/08/summer-2011.html
The Book Tramp in London. Eliza Lane, Summer 2011. Monday, August 8, 2011. Final Project: Photo Book. Our final project was to create a photo book using a Web 2.0 application. I used Shutterfly. I had high hopes for this project at one point, but it never got off the ground, since I was so busy with everything else that had to be done. And then today I spent nine hours in a Parisian hospital- turns out my daughter has a pulmonary infection. Click here to view this photo book larger.
