Westminster Standards: Game 4: Electricly Burned
http://wpcathletics.blogspot.com/2008/10/game-4-electricly-burned.html
Friday, October 10, 2008. Game 4: Electricly Burned. Not to ruin the suspense, but it is much easier (and more fun) to write about our victories that it is to summarize our loses. We put a little rally together with two outs in the bottom of the last inning. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit we had accumulated, and we came up short against the Britt Rice Ballers with a final score of 11-17. Much like the A&M vs. OSU game on Saturday, with a few plays going a different way, thi...Game 4: E...

Westminster Standards: October 2008
http://wpcathletics.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Game 7: Helping Hands. With the loses we sustained during the past week, I was forced to call in the reserves. As it turned out, Jimmy and Jon (who had said all along they could play if needed) were able to fill in quite nicely. Friday, October 17, 2008. Games 5 and 6: Two Bad. The first game didn't start off to so well, as the opposition got off to a fast start, while it took us a couple of innings to get going. Overall it wasn't a bad game, but we were bitten by the bad i...

Westminster Standards: Game 2: Gettin' the Lead Out
http://wpcathletics.blogspot.com/2008/09/game-2-gettin-lead-out.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Game 2: Gettin' the Lead Out. I think this may have been the best game that we have ever played. Pitching, defense, and hitting were all executed quite well. Once again, we had a good turnout. I would like to especially thank all of the wives who made the extra effort to bring the kiddos out to the park for the game even though it was a later start time. I can't speak for the other guys, but I know I enjoy having my family joining in the fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Wilson's Dang Blog: April 2011
http://mmwilson.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The Wilson's Dang Blog. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. So much for calm. I closed my last blog with, "Here's hoping we all sleep well tonight and tomorrow is calmer then today! I did not get my wish. After all the drama of going to the hospital and being sent home with Jeremiah was nervous to go. I did not want to be sent home. Especially since I had been to the hospital the day before and the midwife told me I probably had over a week left. Was on the way or something was wrong. The contractions started getti...

Ephram is doing great! Here's a quick update on him. He LOVES to be swaddled! Even when he's not sleepy, he likes to be swaddled, snuggled and look around. He's a paci boy. Nurses every 2:30 to 3 hours. Unless he's going through a growth spurt, then it's 2 to 2:30. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Yesterday while nurs...

In My Own Mind: What Would You Do?
http://lindsaynewcomer.blogspot.com/2008/02/what-would-you-do.html
In My Own Mind. I live in my own mind. Ain't nothin' but a good time. No rain just sunshine. Out here in my own mind. Saturday, February 23, 2008. What Would You Do? So I try not to make too many comments or give opinions unless directly asked. As an opinionated person, I don't always succeed, but at least I have goals. (We DINKs are known for our ambitious goals, after all). However, yesterday presented a perfect example of a time where I did not want to be involved in correcting someone's child, but fe...

In My Own Mind. I live in my own mind. Ain't nothin' but a good time. No rain just sunshine. Out here in my own mind. Sunday, January 13, 2008. I got a job! Thursday night, an old RUF friend of mine, Hannah, called and told me that there was an opening in her department at A&M, and would I be interested. Of course I would! I went in the next morning and met with her boss, and was offered the job. Very exciting! Hope you enjoy what you'll do! Sean, Stephanie and Hattie. How's the new job going?

In My Own Mind: July 2007

In My Own Mind. I live in my own mind. Ain't nothin' but a good time. No rain just sunshine. Out here in my own mind. Sunday, July 29, 2007. Several people have been asking what our plans are after I graduate in December. After a lot of thinking and praying, we have decided to stay in College Station for a while longer. I guess the best way to explain our decision is to explain what we had originally hoped to do. Westminster is already set up with a strong session of deacons, elders, and pastors, who are...

Westminster Standards: September 2007
http://wpcathletics.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Game 3: Up to Old Tricks. Thank you to those that came out to brave the September heat for an early game. We had a nice group of fans there cheering us on and that has been one of the best parts of this young season so far. We have had great attendance at the games, and I can only hope that it continues. Final Score: WPC 8 vs. Lumberjacks 14. We have another early game next week, and I hope that many of you will come out to join us again. We will be playing the Britt Rice...

Westminster Standards: Games 5 & 6: Two Bad
http://wpcathletics.blogspot.com/2008/10/games-5-6-two-bad.html
Friday, October 17, 2008. Games 5 and 6: Two Bad. The first game didn't start off to so well, as the opposition got off to a fast start, while it took us a couple of innings to get going. Overall it wasn't a bad game, but we were bitten by the bad inning, and depite a late rally we were not able to recover. I believe the final score in this one was 6-14.
