Lincoln at one month. Lincoln had his one month appointment the other day. He now weighs 8 lbs 9 oz. He went from being in the 5th percentile for weight to the 25th percentile. Chicken and Zucchini Indonesian Coconut Rice. This was yummy and I have found a love for boneless skinless chicken thighs. I could see us making this again. Easy Oven Baby Back Ribs. I didn't have high hopes for this because the recipe is deceptively simple but it was really good. Classic Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Maren and Patrick Peng 彭家庭. Our travelogue and thoughts on life. Saturday, August 29, 2015. We decided to bless E while we were in Utah so that family could be there. Patrick blessed him at his mom's house on Thursday, July 30. It was E's four week mark. I gave the opening prayer and then Patrick, Reuben, and a member of Eileen's bishopric circled to give him a name a blessing. Eileen, Sadie, Janae, R and I were in attendance. We have to take pictures? All the fam who were able to come. R loved it though!

I'm trying to be more festive with the holidays as Ann gets older, so we definitely did more for Easter this year. I also got to try and explain a little bit to Ann about what Easter is all about. I suppose it's an improvement that I'm posting about Valentine's only about a month after the fact, instead of 2 months like Christmas :). Lincoln started kindergarten on Tuesday September 2. It was a really hard day for me. It is weird to have him away from me for so long every day (he gets on the bus at 8:30 and off at 4:00 ish) and I miss him during the day. I cried and cried that first day, but I’ve been doing better since. Luckily, it was a much happier day for Lincoln….
