April 21, 2011. Our Family's First Mission Call. My little sister got her mission call today. She is going to the Paraguay Asuncion Mission. It's spanish speaking. Woo hoo! She goes into the MTC on August 17th. I'm so proud of her. I'm also so very jealous and excited for her. She's going to be a great missionary. March 18, 2011. Busy, Busy, Busy. On a happier note, I've gotten a bunch of new quilts done and finally created my Etsy site and blog and have them listed. I'm so excited! My new blog is here.

April 27, 2010. A Place Of Our Own. We are officially under contract! We bought a house! Ok, it's actually a condo. But still, it's all ours. No more paying another's mortgage. We were motivated by the $8000 tax credit and because of it, we're able to do this. We're SO excited! But we moved on. And we found out that our offer was lower, but they felt like we would be better to work with. HOLY COW! We are so lucky! Walk-in closet and my personal favorite, a jetted soaker tub! July 19, 2010. It's been a little while since I've updated about Lindy's milestones. A couple of weeks ago she discovered her feet. She has had them in her hands and mouth ever since. I wish I was that flexible! Last week she started sitting up all by herself. Wahoo! She still can't roll over, but she can sit up. It makes me laugh. And we finally got a video of her laughing. It's the greatest sound in the world! Allan was changing her diaper and jokingly spanked her. She started cracking up! July 18, 2010.

October 28, 2010. Until this year, I hadn't carved pumpkins in SO long. I'm not sure why. I love doing it. This year we invited Brad and Miranda over for dinner and pumpkin carving. Brad was hysterical (as usual) and brought his bag of pumpkin carving tools. Basically, it was all of his power tools. What's even more funny is that he and Allan used them for their pumpkins! We used the stencil things from the carving books and they turned out great! Brad's "Pumpkin Carving Kit" and the boys looking manly.

March 31, 2010. Last weekend we went to the Festival of Colors. It's a celebration to welcome the spring. It is held at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. After the emcee counts down, everybody throws chalk at everybody else. It is such a blast! We went with our friends Mike and Megan and Seth and Cindy. It was so great. We were covered in chalk even before the countdown. But after the countdown, it was crazy! After the fight - front side. After the fight - back side. The four of us. Labels: Just for Fun.

March 8, 2011. I started my physical therapy yesterday. It kicked my trash. I was SO sore! I used to be really strong. In high school I could whip out push ups like they were nothing and even beat the boys in my neighborhood at arm wrestling. Yesterday I couldn't even do the exercises for my shoulders with 1.5 lbs before they gave out. Pitiful. It was a very humbling experience.
