Monday, July 12, 2010. The boy started the summer as a 3 year old and his June was jam-packed! Swim lessons, basketball camp, birthday party (post coming soon)! We started with swim lessons at the McDowells, AKA the Swim Nazis. Let me say that everyone has different ideas about them, but I can tell you that my boy never cried going to lessons or leaving from lessons and he learned to swim like a champ! Monday, August 16, 2010. Mini-trip to Longview and Bye-Bye Paci! A few weeks ago, Ryan was out of town for business so Pierson and I loaded up and headed to Longview for a few days to visit with my family! My niece Maddie got to stay home from school and play with us while we were there and the girls had a blast together. We went to the park and got snow cones. Played in the splash park. Pierson loved running through this part over and over again. Got to spend some quality time with Gamps and Ganny too!

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Reid getting his first bottle from daddy! It was a little messy, but he got the hang of it eventually. Two weeks also marked his first try with the paci. I forgot how big the soothies look against their tiny little face! He does "ok" with the paci, but he doesnt seem to love it. We will see if he grows to like it more or not. Starting to be more alert and practicing his tummy time. Big sister loves to try to give him toys and talk to him while he is on his tummy!

Saturday, February 19, 2011. First Trip to the Dentist. Pierson recently had her first trip to the dentists office. I had no idea how it would go or what to expect, but she actually did pretty well! She started off by checking out all the toys in the office. Once the dentist came in, she got to wear some pretty pink glasses and she even said "ahhh" for a few seconds to let her look at her teeth.
