Ministering to youth and young families around the world. Friday, October 31, 2008. Strive to Transcend the Quarrel. I have been thinking about this for several years and wanted to share this with you now. My friend, Allan Stanglin, has blogged about this in the past few days and I want to post them here. I do this simply to elicit a response from you, dear readers. Let me know here or by email or even by facebook as many of you have in the past. A Spirit Of Unity). Are you the weak brother or sister?

Jimmy Mitchell's blog: Yesterday Was...
http://jimmymitchell.blogspot.com/2009/08/yesterday-was.html
Ministering to youth and young families around the world. Monday, August 31, 2009. Amazing because we had Terry Rush here as our 5th Sunday guest speaker. What a great man of God he is! Powerful because God worked in the lives of Evelyn Hunt and Shirley Wallace through his almighty word. Moving because worship with 450 in the same room has that sort of impact. Especially when singing the newer praise songs (wondering what kind of response you'll get) and hearing everyone sing out! Well said, Jimmy!

Jimmy Mitchell's blog: The Church
http://jimmymitchell.blogspot.com/2009/09/church.html
Ministering to youth and young families around the world. Wednesday, September 09, 2009. My friend and fellow youth minister, Chris Rampey, has this to say to us today. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.". What if the Church in America, no matter which version you belong to, has a veil over it's eyes. Are we The Church that Christ leads? What can be done about it?

Jimmy Mitchell's blog: March 2009
http://jimmymitchell.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Ministering to youth and young families around the world. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. A Central Arkansas Youth Minister friend wrote this in his daily bible study and it puts into words just what I have been chewing on this week. Is a great time of year. It's so much fun to watch all the tournaments, and watch these teams succeed. However it's very sad to see a team just fall apart because of selfishness. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jimmy Mitchell's blog: Communion
http://jimmymitchell.blogspot.com/2009/09/communion.html
Ministering to youth and young families around the world. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. I really need to know what is the meaning of the word "Communion." Is it not the same as the word koinonia. Because if it is, then many of us in church have been lead astray by traditional viewpoints and we have a bit of a problem. I agree. I hear mature believers saying things like I need it to be quite so I can concentrate. Really, how many suppers are conducted like that? There are times for reverence in communion a...

carefully crafted: Christmas prep!
http://taylorrheanne.blogspot.com/2012/12/christmas-prep.html
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Sunday, December 2, 2012. I'm such a little kid about Christmas! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. December 3, 2012 at 3:59 PM. When I think about being a mom and what Mary went through and what Jesus was like that first Christmas it always makes me tear up if not cry! Being a Mom totally changed Christmas for me.
