So we managed to patch up the house enough to hold a christmas party and what a lot of fun it was! The day before we had big holes in the floor and the old kitchen was in the garden. We spent today with sledgehammers and crow bars whacking plaster off the walls in between the kitchen and living room. The carpenters are coming today to fix the mess! Our help x'er Gabriel is fantastic and worked with Dan to remove a load of plasterboard while I bought a load of wrong things from Bunnings and failed to buy a kitchen!
