Sliced chile peppers, jalapenos or mild chile. Chopped fresh parsley, optional. In a small bowl, stir together sugar, cornmeal, cream, baking powder, and salt. Stir into corn mixture. Spread in a greased, 8-inch square baking pan. Cover tightly with foil. Labels: Corn Bread Recipes. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.

Hamburger Stuffed French Bread. 1 loaf French bread. 1 onion, chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 lb ground beef, browned w/onion and garlic. 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (any type). 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional). In a skillet, sauté hamburger with minced garlic, chopped onion and (optional) parsley. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix ingredients well and restuff this mixture back into French bread shell.

Can substitute with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice. Cream butter in large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar and mix until blended. Beat in pumpkin and egg. Stir together flour, soda, salt; blend in. Chill dough. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough out 1/4" thick. Cut into desired shapes. Place 1" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until no imprint remains when touched lightly. When cool, ice and decorate as desired. 1 c sifted powdered sugar.
