Paige turned 8 this year and asked to bring her 3 best friends, Peyton, Avery, and Gina, horseback riding for her "party". The girls had a great time riding a trail through the mountains and then having a picnic by the creek afterwards. Two days later, she started 3rd grade at Rocky Mountain Academy. The night before, Paige and Tyler got to take a ride in the driveway.both were ecstatic! Posted by The Jackson 5. Don't Mess With These Two! Don't cry because it's over. SMILE because it happened! Wednesday, December 31, 2014. This year we drove across the country to be with our Kentucky family for Christmas! We celebrated Christmas Eve at Kody's parents restaurant, Cloud's Country Kitchen. After dinner, we came home and got the kids ready for bed. It was time to say goodbye to Mr. Elf so Chris read his story and then The Night Before Christmas. The kids got up bright and early the next day and were so excited that Santa had come!

We spent some time together and then Chris and I went to Crested Butte for 6 whole nights.(wait for it).by ourselves! We are so grateful to my mom and dad for the opportunity to get some R&R in such a beautiful place.more on that to come. Before we left though, we headed to Evergreen Lake for a picnic and concert. Don't cry because it's over. SMILE because it happened! Sunday, May 10, 2015. 20 Years Since High School? This June marks 20 years since my high school graduation. How is that even possible? These girls - Alicia, Erin, Amy, and Lori - have been my friends for what seems like forever. We all live in different cities in 4 different states now, but when we got together for a weekend at the beach in March, it felt like no time had passed at all. I am so grateful for their friendship.
