As I have not been running regularly for almost a year, I will follow a beginner plan, despite having run six marathons in the past. This is the plan that I will recommend for most of my coworkers at Allegany Arc as we prepare for this adventure together. The Non-runners Marathon Trainer. Mike Trains for the Rochester Marathon. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Registration is Open for Business. For a $5.00 fee participants can register for an early departure. This might be convenient for walkers who are concerned about making it to the finish line within the 7 1/2 hour limit. If you register prior to July 1, the registration fee is $65.00 for the full Marathon, $55.00 for the Half-Marathon, and $140.00 for a three-person relay team. I can't wait to hear how everyone's training is going!
