Home Joys: New Recipe for Peach Salsa
http://homejoys.blogspot.com/2013/07/new-recipe-for-peach-salsa.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. New Recipe for Peach Salsa. Though I had shared a peach salsa recipe back in 2011. For the last few years I've been making this recipe. We like this version better since it has more peaches than tomatoes. I love mixing all the fresh produce with their bright colors. You can use fresh hot peppers instead of dried pepper flakes but after a bad burn from cutting up hot peppers one year, I find dried pepper flakes much easier! 9 cups fresh peaches,. 2 T lemon or lime juice. Mix peache...

Home Joys: Q&A - Balancing Housework
http://homejoys.blogspot.com/2015/08/q-balancing-housework.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Q&A - Balancing Housework. Recently a Home Joys reader asked some questions that I've received in various forms numerous times so I decided to share my attempt at an answer here. How do you balance the housework (involve the kids in the housework) and the school work? I am drawn to simplicity, but tend to make everything complicated! I'm not a naturally organized person...

Or 2 more cups of brown sugar is you prefer). 2 cups apple cider vinegar. 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce. 1 1/2 cup dry mustard powder. 3 T black pepper. 3 T garlic powder. Each day I look fo...

Home Joys: Homemade Ketchup
http://homejoys.blogspot.com/2010/10/homemade-ketchup.html
Monday, October 18, 2010. Since several of you asked.here is the ketchup recipe that I used this year. It is actually adapted from two different recipes. I don't often make ketchup, only if I have more tomatoes than I know what to do with. That I had extra tomatoes this year in spite of the drought, is amazing. No wonder the freezer seemed so full! I've already shared how freezing and thawing tomatoes. Separates the water from the tomatoes which is easily poured off. The resulting juice is extra thick.

Saturday, November 1, 2008. 1 gallon of skinned and diced tomatoes (Roma are wonderful but any kind of tomato will work). 12 chopped jalapeno peppers (use caution and wear gloves while chopping peppers, after a bad experience, I just put in 3 T. or more of dried crushed red pepper). 3 sweet peppers (diced). 2 medium onions (diced). 1 tsp garlic powder. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (I don't usually have this so I substitute fresh parsley). November 19, 2010 at 3:51 PM. You are so sweet! I would really appreciat...
