The surgeon called today to let me know that she had received a partial pathology report and that it looked like I made a good call (to have the bilateral mastectomy rather than the lumpectomy)! Tuesday, May 28, 2013. 4th Surgeon Visit May 28, Post Surgery. Today all bandaging and drains were removed. and I received an 'A' for healing progress! No pathology report available today, probably due to the holiday weekend....

Sea Change - Breast Cancer. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Today I spoke with the hospital's Breast Health Patient Navigator department and made an appointment to visit my advocate on Friday morning. She will support me pre- and post-surgery, and probably is responsible for loaning me a mastectomy chemise.
