Friday, September 28, 2007. Well, I had thought to post some newer pictures of the farm, but I don't particularly care to walk around with a camera. So, instead of a nice post with pictures, I have to do a short, boring :). Claire and Kyle are working on fitting school in the rather hectic schedule we have now. I'm trying to do what's expected of me, and finish Anna Karenina. Well, I need to go wash the milking stuff now. Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Pig Slaughtering: Start to Finish. Again, the mule!

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Tim Hawkins on pig slaughtering. I couldn't help posting this in the light of our latest slaughtering adventures. I said I'd give my opinion of Nicholas Nickleby. So here it is. I thought that it was a rather tedious book. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, but I have read other books that I enjoyed much more. Of the Dickens books I have read, this is probably my least favorite, but A Christmas Carol. Comes close. A Christmas Carol. Has the advantage of being short though.

Saturday, April 28, 2007. A Great Way To Expand One's Repertoire. Have to go from five songs to an hour's worth of songs in a week and a half or less! Believe me, it's difficult! We haven't quite got an hour, but it's close enough. We've added three songs just in the past couple of days! However, everything will be better come show time, but everything will be great. Now all we need to do is get these fellers up! Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Oh To Have What They Had! Why is your face downcast? Another chick ...

Thursday, December 23, 2010. It's been awhile since I've been able to post, but I hope to make it up to y'all. Several people have asked me to publish pictures from our house-raising. Until now, I haven't had the time or the internet. We had a lot of fun those three days. We ended them with a cookout on Wednesday night. We ate hamburgers and hotdogs and drank IBC root beer. Afterwards, we sat around a fire, toasting marshmallows, while Claire and Kyle played and sang some bluegrass for us. John has troub...
