Contradiction In Terms: February 2014
http://tiredofurlhunting.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 13, 2014. Every so often I have a problem with logic [1]. My problem is people citing logic, without understanding logic. It has become like a mantra: “Be logical,” “Logic tells us,” et cetera. Sadly, the people who do so say logic when they mean “I think”, not necessarily acknowledging the other side except to dismiss it out of hand. So what then is logic? Before I go further, I will say I am not fully versed in Logic. I don’t know all its listed pitfalls (called [2]. To guide the dec...

Contradiction In Terms: November 2011
http://tiredofurlhunting.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Rain On My Parade. Once upon a time,". I used this phrase to start a verse or two. My mind was blank,. And the paper white. What more could I do? Pithy words and snarky strokes,. Left the parchment clean. But tempting thoughts, hid. And called from the unseen. A Dragon. A tree. A valiant white knight. A demon. A Queen. A snowstorm at midnight. Each thought a doodle;. Still, there lies within. The dark shrouded night,. A luminous speck,. A tempting bright light. I penned the ...

Contradiction In Terms: October 2013
http://tiredofurlhunting.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 11, 2013. I have lived this before. I have lived it all before. Too many times to count. Each time is a bit shorter, but the end is always the same. My life repeats right up to my suicide. I always believed in an afterlife, and for years that stayed my hand. But it wasn't enough, and I never expected this. Each time start a little later, I've noticed. I used to look forward to it. Now… now it scares me. What happens when there is nothing left to repeat? Will I think to oblivion?

Contradiction In Terms: September 2012
http://tiredofurlhunting.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 9, 2012. I know this land; I grew up here. I know it all, and it is real. But this portion, the portion I seek today, it exists outside time, in a fold of space and reality. This is a land that denies it's nonexistence and belies its simplicity. I have been to this land before. A year prior, I found the fence. It stretches from horizon to horizon, beyond is another geography, another reality. I have traveled there. I have taken friends and family. I call others and show them the power I...

Keepin' Up With Krista: November 2012
http://kshyne.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Keepin' Up With Krista. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. So much for my good intentions! Now I've got a couple of months to summarize. So I'll start with October. Heidi, Mary Lu, and myself decided it would be good to get a way for a Saturday, so we headed down to Little Wild Horse, outside of Goblin Valley to do a little hiking. So fun! It had rained the day before, so we ended up doing a little "swimming" and shimmying in the slot canyon, but we had a great time! Had to get our ice cream fix! Day 5-6: Lexin...

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Easter and the rest of April. We have been having some really fun adventures the last few months. When we were living in our basement apartment we could not fit our couch down to where we were living, so we bought this cute chair from DI, but as you can see it is a little.dated! My wonderful mother in law saw the potential in the chair and helped me reupholster it! We got the fabric for a good price at JoAnns and then we recovered it! We loved how it turned out! I love you Daddy!

The Astounding Andersens!: Tyler's Birthday/Trip to the Zoo
http://astoundingandersens.blogspot.com/2012/05/tylers-birthdaytrip-to-zoo.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. Tyler's Birthday/Trip to the Zoo. We had such a fun time this weekend celebrating Tyler's 25th birthday! Leah and I had fun spoiling our hard-working daddy. He got a new razor, a couple of WWII documentaries and lots of books! On Saturday, Tyler's mom came down and we went and ate pho. A Vietnamese noodle soup that Tyler got addicted to on his mission). Tyler is not much of a cake-eater, so instead I went and picked up a Banana Cream Pie from a super yummy restaurant. This bear just...
