Friday, December 7, 2012. It is impossible to explain the full range of emotions that you experience when you meet an “orphan” that you know. Is yours. Technically, B and R are still orphans. No papers have been signed. They are not under our watchful eye and care in our home. But in our hearts, they are our sons. Time, paperwork and money are all that stands between what we feel for them and what we are able to live out on a daily basis. Now is one of those times for us. Allen Family Adoption Fund.

Monday, April 22, 2013. The Light at the End of the Tunnel Wasn't a Train! Today was a very long day. Our first visit to the US Embassy was about and an hour and a half, and we spent most of that time filling out paperwork in order to get the boys' visas.
