How to Find Us. Why a Silent Retreat? Welcome, guest: login. Or Set up an account. Why a Silent Retreat? For some, silence can be uncomfortable at first because we're conditioned to noise. In silence, we close ourselves off from noise, whether that be music, words, or any number of things. The silence can keep you awake! We are addicted to words. They are the most powerful weapon of manipulation that we possess. Because we are so afraid of what others think about and see in us, we use our words t...Also,...

How to Find Us. Why a Silent Retreat? Welcome, guest: login. Or Set up an account. Saturday before dinner we divide into men's and women's small groups - this is a great time to get to know each other and to share (for those that want to) about what God has shown us. I thought this was a silent retreat! And often, the Lord will use another believer to confirm or strengthen what He speaks to us in the silence - this is an important aspect of hearing God's voice and discerning His will.
