Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Time goes by, and by, and by! Here is what our family has been up to! Visited a horse ranch. Yes, Katie still has her fingers, but I think one of the horses is missing an eye.). Jonathan won 3rd place in the ward chili cook off. Went camping near Orlando. Jonathan's car "Who Cut the Mustard" won second place. Almost watched the shuttle launch "Endeavor" at Cape Canaveral. It got scrubbed last minute. Monday, December 28, 2009. On Christmas Eve Katie got pajamas from my mom to continue the Sykes family tradition. It was started by my great-grandma and celebrated by my grandparents. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Look Who Turned 30! I got him a UF Gator tee, so he could fit in and make some new friends here in town. not that he needs it with his magnetic charm and dashing good looks :). Monday, March 23, 2009. Back in Jonathan's glory days, he was the state wrestling champion. No one could defeat him. There's a new kid in town. Watch out, Dad! Saturday, July 18, 2009. This isn't the best resolution pic, but it captures J's first scallop. We went scalloping several times this summer. They sit on the bottom of the ocean, and you scoop em' up and saute them with butter. Our friends' 6 year-old son speared his first fish. Our friends call their boat the "Big Red Ugly" but I think any boat with a view like this is pretty amazing. We were off the western coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Monday, December 21, 2009. Here is some footage of Katie dancing:. She loves the "horsey" song. It is one of those annoying kid songs that gets stuck in your head and leaves you humming it throughout the day.and I've posted it just for YOU! I've taught Katie how to twirl at the end of the song.
