Chasing the Sun: May 2011
http://imchasingthesun.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 28, 2011. We stopped at Charlie and Ruth's in Lexington on our way back to Minnesota this year. They've worked on this for years and Ruth has a story to tell about each little tableau right down to who's married to who and what they do for a living. She's the main caretaker and in this case had "help" from her granddaughter, Violet. Thursday, May 19, 2011. New addition, just laid today! Wednesday, May 18, 2011. We won't be around to see if they raise a family. Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

TVsnacks: March 2007

Sunday, March 25, 2007. Welcome to the Bog-o-sphere. Last Friday Kirk and I went for a run over to Lebanon Hills. Our favorite local park. To call it a park seems a little offensive. It would be like calling Mike N. A little wordy. The park is huge and full of what most people think of as hiking trails. Kirk and I consider them running trails. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). TVsnacks: Culinary Adventures
http://tvsnacks.blogspot.com/2008/12/culinary-adventures.html
Friday, December 12, 2008. In October, while visiting my Cousin Kathy in California and enjoying some great food, I developed a list of foods I wanted to try to prepare.my culinary goals. The list includes gnocchi, ravioli (which begins with making my own pasta) and tamales. Shortly after I got home I tried gnocchi, with mixed success (half of them were great, the other half were mushy). So I can't cross it off my list. So, which meat did you like the best? Chasing the Sun: December 2009
http://imchasingthesun.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I ran ten minutes on the beach today using my new Vibram five-finger shoes. Pretty cool, through water, over shells, etc. Felt fast. Later I ran 40 minutes in my regular shoes. Too early to compare the effect on this old body. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Juan Cole's analysis of the Middle East. A blog devoted to my personal holiday, it's a long story . Thursday, March 20, 2008. I bought this fabulous. Bag a couple weeks ago. It is gorgeous. It is very grown up to go with my new post-graduate school lifestyle. It is also very large. Last week I was like, "Isn't this great? I've got my lunch, my gym clothes, and some work stuff in here! Anyway, as you can imagine, javelin throwing is kind of hard on your back. It was also really fun! Thursday, March 20, 2008. Where's the picture of the bag?

TVsnacks: Sometimes you CAN go home again (part 2)...
http://tvsnacks.blogspot.com/2008/11/sometimes-you-can-go-home-again-part-2.html
Sunday, November 2, 2008. Sometimes you CAN go home again (part 2). Home doesn't always include a house.for me it means feeling happy and loved. I ran the Chicago marathon on October 12th. As with most marathons, it seems to have taken a bit out of me.physically and emotionally. After the marathon I " broke up with running. For a few weeks. I ran, but rarely and I didn't enjoy it much.
