Starting our new "LIFE". I decided to start this blog so that our friends and family can follow us as we move to Marietta, GA so Jacob can go back to school. Thursday, October 22, 2009. We took Lou Ellen to her first football game last weekend! Ok, so they moved kickoff to 6:45 which is almost Lou's bedtime and it was cold so we didn't actually make it to the game. But we participated in the pregame festivities. Lou got to see the parade and the band and the cheerleaders. She had a blast! I love her hat!

Friday, January 22, 2010. Almost 4 months later. All of this to say, over the past couple of months I have lost two very special people in my family. This is how I choose to remember them. Loosing people close to me and knowing where they are now has taken me to a new level of appreciation and gratitude for my Heavenly Father. When my grandmother was dying, I read a post about an elderly woman in Africa, living alone, dying alone on a dirt floor. Katie wrote about her again today. Go Change the World.

Saturday, August 22, 2009. This child never ceases to amaze me. He should have been taking a nap, but instead, he decided to lather up in Desit1n Creamy. I am trying to understand the world of boys, but 27 months and counting, I haven't been very successful. Taking a picture of him was probably not the best choice at the time, but I knew I would laugh one day. More posts to come soon about the rest of our summer and starting Kindergarten. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your prayers! We are home and Timothy is making great progress! He is walking but still has a long way to go. We are waiting on referals to follow up with the many of the doctors we saw at CHOC and our insurance is changing carriers on October 1st.
