Jay O. came up with this name based on David Chang’s assertion that “ginger scallion sauce is one of the greatest sauces or condiments ever. Ever.” Chang also says, “… know that you need ginger scallion sauce on your noodles, in your fridge, and in your life. For real.”. 2 1/2 cups finely chopped scallions. 1/2 cup finely minced peeled fresh ginger. 1 1/2 tsp light soy sauce. 1/2 tsp Kosher salt to taste.

Hakka Chinese Chili Chicken. March 26, 2011 in Uncategorized. My colleague enlightened me to the existence of the Hakka Chinese ethnicity http:/ www.asiawind.com/hakka/. And to their cuisine. We both tried the following recipe, it is delicious and spicy. 2 large onions, chopped. 1/2 c vegetable oil. Finely chopped ginger, about 2 tbsp or more. 5 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp cumin powder. 1 tsp coriander powder. 6 8 chicken thighs, skinned and boned. Salt and White Pepper. Corn starch for coating chicken.
