July 24, 2014. Summer Snippets, Part II. Here's a little this-and-that from July! We've had a lot of fun with grandparents this month! Grandpa (my dad) has been making and sharing lots of homemade ice cream with us. This summer he's made strawberry, peach, vanilla, vanilla with mini chocolate chips, and snickers. That's playing a part in why I'm still holding on to some "baby" weight! No pictures of it, but we have really enjoyed it! Pappy and Niecee (Karl's parents) got a new dog a couple weeks ago!

April 9, 2014. Last Saturday we decided to try a little rice cereal mixed with my milk. We got him in his chair and got him ready. Doesn't he look like a stud? February 7, 2014. It Wasn't a Dusting. The forecast called for a possible dusting on Tuesday, January 28th. Tuesday morning Karl told Cooper that it might snow that day, and Cooper's response was, "You gotta be kidding me! That was kind of all of our responses. If you are wondering what happens when you pour saline up a completely blocked nostril. the answer is, the water (and mucus) will try to come out of your tear duct into your eyeball. It is GROSS and burns. Don't try it! We fight about who loves who more. He'll say, "I love you more! At least 1,000 times/day.

I Carried You In My Heart. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Sunday was a sad day in our house. Yia Yia and Papou left to go back to Canada. Poor C asks for them several times a day. He'll ask, "Where Yia Yia go? Pa Papou go bye bye? He's doing pretty well though. We can distract him pretty easily. He was sick this weekend. He was such a pitiful little thing. His fever would get to 104 and then he would throw up. It was just a virus though and he got over it in a few days. Sleeping on me when he was 1 month old.
